What do your pets need?
All pet owners want their pets to look their best. Shiny silky coat without tangles, well-groomed claws, clean ears, soft paw pads, no skin diseases, fleas. But to properly care for your dog’s coat, simple soap and a comb are not enough! For a long time, there has been special cosmetics for dogs that will make the grooming process easier for you. Caring for dogs and cats can sometimes be very time-consuming. Particular attention should be paid to long-haired breeds. But owners of animals with short hair should not forget that their pets also need constant care. Moreover, their skin is less protected and requires mild detergents. They should contain non-aggressive surfactants, such as cocamidopropyl betaine. Shampoos and soaps used by people are not suitable in their composition for proper animal care. Since the pH of the skin of animals differs from ours, cosmetics for dogs and cats should be purchased specifically designed for them.
So, let’s talk more about animal cosmetics:
Please note that any pets, like humans, can be allergic to various substances, especially those of artificial origin. Bulldogs, Shar Peis, Chow Chows, Dalmatians, and all dwarf breeds are most susceptible to allergies. Therefore, carefully read the composition of the product indicated on the label. Give preference to natural formulations with plant extracts (aloe, chamomile, calendula, green tea, mint) and essential oils (juniper, tea tree, sage, wormwood, lavender).
Such cosmetics not only care for your pet’s coat, soothe the skin and remove dog odor, but also protect against flea, mosquito and tick bites. The skin of a puppy or kitten needs special care, so it is not recommended to wash “children” with cosmetics for adult pets. Do not forget about the ears. Give preference to natural sprays that contain a natural antiseptic – tea tree essential oil or eucalyptus A. Sprays with lavender, wormwood, and pine essential oils will protect your pet from insects while walking. And finally, about the paws: use special creams, waxes and fondants with aloe vera, chamomile, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, which will protect your pet’s pads at any time of the year.
